Lady Gaga recibe de Yoko Ono el Premio de la Paz

Yoko Ono entregó el martes (9 de octubre) el premio para la paz Lennon Ono a Lady Gaga en la ciudad de Reikiavik, con motivo del cumpleaños de John Lennon, quien cumpliría 72 años de seguir con vida. Entre los ganadores figura también el ensayista estadounidense John Perkins, así como a título póstumo la activista Rachel Corrie y el periodista Christopher Hitchens, ambos estadounidenses, y las Pussy Riot. 

Yoko Ono declaró que quería galardonar a Lady Gaga por su militancia a favor de los derechos de los homosexuales. "Es formidable que utilice su poder para hacer otra cosa que no sea sólo cantar", dijo.
